Invitation to Bid: Patching and Sealing Driveways and Parking Areas, and Striping and Numbering Parking Lots
The Rutland Housing Authority (RHA) invites contractors to submit proposals for patching and sealing driveways and parking areas, and striping and numbering parking lots for our Public Housing Development located at Templewood Court, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, Vermont.

Proposals will be accepted at the office of Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT until 4:00 P.M., Friday, November 16, 2018.
Proposal documents will be available at the Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT.
Refer all questions to Sheri L. McCloskey, Rutland Housing Authority’s Property Manager, at (802) 775-2926, ext. 14, or via e-mail. If you wish, you may contact Ms. McCloskey to schedule a pre-bid Proposal site visit.
This Proposal will have a start date of May 2019, and completed within 30 Days.

Respondents are urged to allow adequate time for proposal deliveries to comply with deadline. Faxed or e-mailed responses are not permitted. Responses will not be opened or read publicly. Rutland Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals.
The Owner is exempt from payment of Federal, State and Local Taxes and Sales Tax on all materials and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to the provisions of the Contract.
Minority, Women-owned, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to respond.

 

Invitation to Bid: Electrical Service Panel Replacements
The Rutland Housing Authority invites contractors to submit a Proposal for the replacement of electrical service panels at Sheldon Towers located at 14 Sheldon Place, Rutland, VT.
The Proposals will be received at the office of Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT until 3:30 P.M., Monday, November 5, 2018. All Proposals will be based on the plans and specifications prepared by Engineering Services of Vermont Inc.
Proposal documents will be available at the Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT.
A pre-bid Proposal site visit may be scheduled by contacting Sheri L. McCloskey, Rutland Housing Authority’s Property Manager, at (802) 775-2926, ext. 14.
This Proposal will have a start date to be determined by mutual convenience of the Owner and the Contractor, and completed within 60 Days.
The Owner is exempt from payment of Federal, State and Local Taxes and Sales Tax on all materials and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to the provisions of the Contract.

General Instructions for Proposal

The Rutland Housing Authority (RHA) is committed to working with qualified vendors and contractors who can fulfill the various contractual needs of the agency.
The General Provisions are to:
1. Provide fair and equitable treatment of all persons or firms involved in purchasing by the RHA
2. Assure that supplies, services, & construction are procured efficiently, effectively, and at the most favorable prices available to the RHA
3. Promote competition in contracting
4. Provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of qualify and integrity
5. Assure that RHA purchasing actions are in full compliance with applicable Federal standards, HUD regulations, and State and local laws
* The term "procurement" includes both contract and modifications (including change orders) for construction or services, as well as purchase, lease, or rental of supplies and equipment.
